Setelah beberapa bulan menjalani rawatan walaupun FT4 & FT3 saya hampir normal namun TSH saya terlampau rendah iaitu cuma 0.010 MIU/L melalui ujian darah pada 10/5/2011.

Renung-renungkan lah...

Reset Your Firefox

Remember when a do-over was acceptable? You got to start with a clean slate and try again.

A do-over would come in handy in many real-world situations. Take Web browsing, for example. Over time, you acquire plugins that you may or may not have willingly downloaded, toolbars you don’t remember installing and more. These can slow down your browsing, cause annoying crashes and just make a big old mess.

Who has time to troubleshoot these things? It’s tedious, sometimes frustrating and often doesn’t fix the problem.

Note: This article doesn't apply to your version of Firefox. It requires the latest Firefox release version which can be downloaded from mozilla.org/firefox.

Firefox has a solution. It’s like hitting the reset button. Actually, it is a reset button. Go to your Firefox menu bar and select Help > Troubleshooting information. Click the “Reset Firefox” Button, confirm your action with the slide-down prompt and then click “Done” when Firefox lets you know it’s reset. How cool is that?
When you reset Firefox, you don’t have to start from scratch. Here’s what you’ll still have in your browser:
  • Bookmarks
  • Browsing history
  • Passwords
  • Cookies (you won’t be logged out of any sites you were logged in to before the reset)
  • Web form auto-fill information
What won’t be in your browser anymore:
  • Extensions and themes: although helpful, they can sometimes cause problems. Reinstalling them one at a time might point out the culprit. But regardless, you’ll need to reinstall them.
  • The reset process will close all open websites. Bookmark sites before your reset and you’ll be able to return.
  • Site-specific preferences, search engines, personal dictionary, download history, DOM storage, security certificate settings, security device settings, download actions, plugin MIME types, toolbar customizations and user styles are also not saved.
So the next time your Firefox seems sluggish — or crashes — give the reset button a try.

World Blood Donor Day

Tema hari derma darah sedunia (World Blood Donor Day) tahun ini ialah 'Every Blood Donor is a HERO'.

I'm not a HERO today...
Borang menderma darah...
Borang menderma darah...
Borang menderma darah...
Periksa Hb...
Hb - ok (Tenggelam)

Tak sampai pun seminggu, lampu injin pula menyala.

'Owner's manual' kata guna BK5E, mana satu betul ni?

French Submarines Diving Malaysia Into Deep Controversy - Press Conference

Specific findings from the Paris papers

Document 97.
The documents seized by the French police include a note for the French Minister of Defense dated 2 June 1999 related to an interview with the Malaysian Minister of Defense and the French-Malaysian diplomatic relationships as far as defense is concerned.

In a document tagged “Malaysia”, there is a confidential report regarding PERIMEKAR and TERASASI. The report includes a note on “Retracing the background of negotiations”. The note states that pursuant to the major defense contracts between France and Malaysia, there is a requirement that substantial transfer of money has to be channeled to individuals and/or political organizations.
The note specifically states that apart from individuals, the ruling party (UMNO) is the biggest beneficiary. Consultants (company agents) are often used as political network agents to facilitate these monetary transfers and to receive commissions from their mandators.

The note mentions about Mohd Ibrahim Mohd Noor and Razak Baginda as points of reference for political network. The note further states that both Mohd Ibrahim Mohd Noor and Razak Baginda have strong political connections as Mohd Ibrahim Mohd Noor is close to the Finance Minister Daim Zainuddin and Razak Baginda is close to Defence Minister Najib Razak.

The note also explains that by early 2001, Mohd Ibrahim Mohd Noor’s influence began to decline following the fall from power of the Minister of Finance, Daim Zainuddin which resulted in the disappearance of Mohd Ibrahim Mohd Noor’s name from PERIMEKAR both as shareholder and director which was later replaced by people of Razak Baginda’s network. Razak Baginda eventually becomes the main point of reference for political network to facilitate the money transfer.

The note stated:
“On the contrary, Razak Baginda maintained excellent ties with the Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister. Furthermore, his wife is a close friend of the Minister of Defense’s wife. Therefore, Baginda became the centre of the network: Terasasi is linked to Baginda while PERIMEKAR was initially controlled by Mohd Noor.”

Previous Expose
Upon returning from France after meeting with Judge Roger Le Loire at Tribunal de Grande Instance on 19 April 2012 and after gaining full access to the investigation papers, SUARAM had exposed two crucial documents: document 87 and 144.

Document 87
The documents seized by the French police from the office of Mr. Henri GIDE (THALES) on 28 May 2010 includes a fax written in English and sent by F. DUPONT dated 1 June 2001 addressed to D. ARNAUD, CCed to BAIOCCO and SAUVAGEOT with “MALAYSIA/SUBMARINE PROJECT” as the subject.
Mr. DUPONT detailed out the chronology of visits and future actions during the journey in Malaysia of which there were various planned undertakings in particular negotiation meetings with the Ministry of Defense and the management members of PERIMEKAR during which two (2) contract proposals would be mentioned (from DCNI to PERIMEKAR as well as between PERIMEKAR and the Malaysian Government).

He finally indicated a meeting with DATO’ SRI NAJIB in France on 14 July 2001 with the condition that DCNI offers a maximum sum of USD 1 billion for PERIMEKAR’s stay (in France).

Document 144
The prosecutor’s office upon instructions had received from THALES International Asia, an envelope on 22 August 2011. The envelope contained:
- A sub folder entitled “C4”
- A sub folder entitled “invoices”
- PDF files
- A USB thumb drive

Among the crucial documents was the existence of an invoice faxed by TERASASI Sdn Bhd (Company No.524814-P) on 19 September 2004 to Bernard BAIOCCO the then CEO of THALES International Asia. The invoice stated an amount of Euro 359, 450.00 for the purpose of success fees to be paid to Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, Branch CP Tower, Seksyen 16, Petaling Jaya, Account No:12109-0-01-3000450-8 and contains a handwritten note in French as follows:

Translation: Razak requests if that SF can be taken into account quite urgently. The support fee follows with a report.

It therefore appears that Thales International Asia could not ignore that the sum paid to TERASASI Sdn Bhd ultimately benefitted Mr Najib Razak the Minister of Defence and/or his consultant Abdul Razak Baginda.

SATU KES MAHKAMAH YANG PELIK

- Ciptaan asal Severinus Ngali

MALAYA: Betul, Yang Arif.

SINGAHPO: Tidak benar, Yang Arif.

SINGAHPO: Empat!

MALAYA: Tiga lah! Dayang Brew-Nai batal perkahwinan saat-saat akhir.

SINGAHPO: Pasal awak tu gatal sangat!

HAKIM: Untuk rekod mahkamah (Hakim Yu-En berpaling kepada kerani), catatkan 'tiga', bukan 'empat'. (Hakim Yu-En menghadap mahkamah semula) Encik Malaya, benar atau salah dakwaan Miss Sing-Ah-Po, bekas isteri awak, berkenaan awak suka mengambil kesempatan ke atas isteri-isteri awak?

(Encik Malaya terdiam)

49 tahun... sangat lama. Saya akan faham kalau seorang isteri tinggalkan seorang suami seperti Encik Malaya. Tetapi kenapa awak tidak tinggalkan dia?

LYSABAH: Kerana dia ugut saya!

(Mahkamah jadi bising)

LYSABAH: Encik Malaya kata kalau saya tinggalkan dia...

(Encik Malaya terus membisu)

(Hakim Yu-En memanggil seorang lagi saksi)

HAKIM: Puan Sarah-Wak, apa pula aduan awak?

(Mahkamah kembali senyap selepas Hakim Yu-En menghentak meja)

HAKIM: Encik Malaya, ada nak kata apa-apa?

(Encik Malaya membatu)

(Hakim Yu-En kemudiannya memutuskan penghakiman dia)

(Encik Malaya bungkam, keliru, menyesal... garu-garu kepala)

(Dayang Brew-Nai masih bertepuk tangan)

RON95 = RM3.54 (Harga sebenar jika tanpa subsidi)
RON97 = RM2.80 (Ada subsidi tak?)

Tepuk dada tanya selera...

Nissan makes Usain Bolt its brand ambassador, unveils Bolt-GT-R series

Nissan recently launched its new global brand campaign with the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt.

The "What if" campaign has kicked off with a slogan asking “What if the world’s fastest man went even faster?”, where Usain Bolt readies himself in set position for a sprint, next to a Nissan GT-R in the campaign banner.

The banner also highlights Usain Bolt's sprint record time of 9.58 seconds and the GT-R's best time of 0-100kph of 2.8 seconds in it.

Through the campaign, Nissan aims to highlight iconic products and technologies that invigorate consumers – and the global brand.

Bolt, who is an owner of a black GT-R since 2009, is currently training for the Games in London this July, following shooting of the campaign in his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica.

In Japan, Nissan unveiled the Bolt-GT-R series in concourses at Narita International Airport near Tokyo and Osaka’s Kansai International Airport.

The multi-year “WHAT IF_” campaign, soon to reach international airports in all major cities, is intended to boost Nissan’s brand power, a key pillar of the company’s mid-term plan through 2016.

With the ultimate goal of 8 per cent global market share and the new campaign underway, Nissan said that it is confident that Bolt will provide the right charge to electrify the market.

Papa Orang Utan Makes Contact With RFS

DJ Peter John Jaban has now made contact with his colleagues at RFS.  He called early today and admitted to running away, because he feared he would be hurt if he was questioned by the police.

“I can come to a police station with my lawyer, provided the police are not rough with me” he said, citing examples of police brutality against critics of the regime as the reason for his fears.

“I am fearful of what they will do in custody, when you are in their hands”, he added.

But for now Peter explained he feels safer lying low and he thanked everyone who has helped him and shown concern for him over the past few days.

He explained that he had acted on the spur of the moment when 3 people he knew spotted him and flagged down the car he was in, as he left Miri airport in the company of people who had come to help him through any attempts to detain him there.

“They were good Samaritans who helped me get away and I also want to thank Dr Teo and the kind lawyer Alan Ling who also came to assist me.  I am sorry I left so abruptly”.

Peter, who was described as tired and tense looking when he arrived at Miri, explained that his actions were caused by his level of anxiety.

Despite these concerns, Peter went out of his way to stress to colleagues that the Sabah Special Branch and Immigration officials, who had interviewed him as he departed from KK airport had been ‘kind’, but had left him with the impression that he would be stopped again on arrival back in Sarawak:

“In Sabah the Special Branch Officer who interviewed me was very kind to me and let me go.  The immigration officer was kind too.  I would like to thank them for being very kind and polite.  It was only that during the flight I was so fearful that they would get me in Miri”.

Peter said there were a number of reasons why he felt that Special Branch would want to talk to him and why his passport and ID card are registered on the so-called ‘black list’ of people who will be stopped on border checks.

He says that as a former Government worker in the Land and Survey Department he knows that he has broken his employment terms by revealing information that was supposed to be secret.  On the other hand he says he did it to reveal corruption.

He is also fearful of being charged with ‘sedition’, given the reports lodged against RFS by BN supporters and the numerous accusations and attacks by BN politicians in the press.

Finally, he knows that he has been travelling in and around Sarawak avoiding border check points.  ”I don’t know whether I can be charged with not doing the right things within the immigration act” he said.

Peter explained that after a long period away he had been desperate to spend time back in Sarawak, despite his concerns that he had angered the powers that be.  He has taken a number of opportunities to mingle with friends and family, but has continued to be wary of being picked up.

He now says that he is hiding and has not decided on his next move.  He is aware the police are looking for him following concerns at his disappearance, but says he wants to consult with his lawyers and friends before making any further moves:

“I want them to promise me I can appear in a police station provided they don’t harm me. I need to meet with lawyers and seek advice.  I am willing to face them, but don’t hurt me, don’t harm”, he repeated.

Radio Free Sarawak will continue its regular broadcasting daily from 6pm-8pm in Iban and Malay on SW15420kHz.

Radio Free Sarawak: Jaban is hiding voluntarily

Radio station Radio Free Sarawak appears to be distancing itself from controversial announcer Peter John Jaban who disappeared in Miri moments after arriving last Thursday.

“We are no longer concerned about his immediate safety or that he might be under detention,” said a statement from Radio Free Sarawak on Saturday morning.

“There has been some news that he has been present in Miri over the past few days and he appears to be moving freely. This is encouraging information and we are concluding, therefore, that he decided to hide himself voluntarily after being frightened by questioning at Kota Kinabalu International Airport.”

The statement said it was understandable that Jaban, 48, was worried of further questioning by the police upon entering Sarawak.

According to the account of those behind the radio station - which appears to be staffed by Sarawakians and foreigners - Jaban decided to return to Sarawak early this week to celebrate Gawai with his family.

He claimed that police officers questioned and photographed him at the airport.

This version of what transpired included Jaban informing his Radio Free Sarawak colleagues that the police told him at Kota Kinabalu that he would be arrested at Miri Airport.

The information was being conveyed to media organisations on Thursday morning via calls to bureau offices and also via social networks like Facebook.

Reporters were at Miri Airport when Jaban arrived, who appeared gaunt and tired.
Also there were Opposition personnel, including DAP's Alan Ling, Piasau assemblyman, and PKR Miri branch chairman Dr Michael Teo.

The trio were photographed together and left the airport in a car going to Dr Teo's clinic when they were supposedly stopped by another car. Jaban then apparently exited Dr Teo's car with his bags and entered the car in front of them.

There was no report of any struggle, while the Miri police chief ACP Mun Kock Keong has repeatedly assured the public there was no arrest warrant out for Jaban.

Papa Orang Utan still missing

More than 24 hours have gone by since Radio Free Sarawak (RFS) presenter Peter John Jaban was whisked away here by three unknown men early Thursday, and still there is no news on his whereabouts or the circumstances behind his disappearance.

A rumour going around in Kuala Lumpur yesterday was of someone getting hold of Jaban — or better known by his moniker Papa Orang Utan — through his cellphone, and managing to speak to the 48-year-old. Jaban is said to affirm that he was fine.

However, several calls by The Star to Jaban’s cellphone to confirm this were to no avail.

Just after 12.30pm yesterday, the paper also received a call from RFS founder Clare Rewcastle-Brown in London — she was also trying to verify the rumour.

Rewcastle-Brown said Jaban had not contacted her or any of RFS’ staff or even his family in Kuching.

A female friend whom Jaban had communicated with before leaving Kota Kinabalu early Thursday also told Rewcastle-Brown that she had not heard anything.

“I have tried to call him many times but his phone is out of service,” said Rewcastle-Brown.

When asked whether a police report would be made, she said there was even doubt that Jaban was really missing or he was merely taken away by friends for his own safety.

Rewcastle-Brown added that at the moment, she was giving Malaysian police the benefit of the doubt that they were telling the truth and were not involved in Jaban’s disappearance.

Jaban, apparently, is said to have been moving in and out of Sarawak freely and his last trip back was last December.

Which brings up this scenario: If the authorities were really into arresting him as claimed, they could have done so then and not waited until Thursday.

He was apparently spotted at some nightspots in Kuching that month, and The Star verified this with Rewcastle-Brown, who confirmed this via SMS.

If he could visit Sarawak freely before, then Miri police chief ACP Mun Kock Keong’s initial suspicion on Thursday that Jaban had been denied entry into Sabah was possible.

That was why he was asked to return to Sarawak on the next flight out, which was to Miri.

The stand made by the police here was verified by Jaban’s lawyer Alan Ling on Thursday. He had confirmed and double-checked with the police here and they were unaware of what had happened.

They had no instruction to arrest Jaban and were not involved in his disappearance.

Ling, who is also Piasau assemblyman, felt that Jaban should have had the decency to call and say he was safe, or if his disappearance on Thursday was staged for his safety.
Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How, when contacted yesterday, also affirmed that Jaban had been in and out of Sarawak before.

Jaban had alerted See when he was detained at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport on Thursday.

In response, See contacted Ling and Miri PKR chairman Dr Michael Teo to meet Jaban at the Miri Airport. They all expected the police to arrest Jaban there.

However, this did not materialise, but Jaban was clearly shaken and shocked upon arrival.
According to Dr Teo, Jaban was shocked that he was not arrested as he had been warned about this by the authorities in Sabah.

He arrived here at about 10.40am.

See met Jaban’s family yesterday, and said the family would only decide what to do after their meeting later yesterday.

At press time yesterday, ACP Mun confirmed that no police report on Jaban’s disappearance had been lodged and added that if any was made, they would refer it to Miri where Jaban disappeared.
Jaban is a former deejay with radio station Cats.FM. Before that, he was employed by the Land and Survey Department in Kuching.

He joined RFS since its inception in 2010 and came into the limelight when the radio station launched its Iban language call-in shows.

The show proved a tremendous success with listeners calling in and openly speaking about alleged corruption.
